Kids can find out what it’s like to be a firefighter at a four-day camp led by firefighters from the Lynnwood Fire Department and Snohomish County Fire District 1.

Fire Camp takes place July 18-21, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Fire District 1 Training Center, 12425 Meridian Ave. S, Everett WA 98208. Activities include water safety, rescue practices, firefighting and more.  Camp is open to kids ages 11-14. Cost is $150; a limited number of scholarships are available for financial hardship.
