The Human Resources Divisions provides a wide range of employment services in compliance with state and federal law:
- Programs to promote and support the benefits of a diverse workforce.
- Recruitment, hiring and testing qualified applicants for employment at Fire District 1.
- Administration of employee compensation and benefits including health insurance, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, deferred compensation and retirement for more than 225 employees and approximately 500 dependents.
- Establishment of employee job descriptions and classifications.
